The Sony FX3A Cinema Line Camera delivers uncompromising cinematic performance in a compact, handheld body, making it the ideal hybrid tool for solo filmmakers, content creators, and documentary shooters. Featuring a 12.1MP full-frame Exmor R sensor and the powerful BIONZ XR processor, the FX3A offers incredible dynamic range, low-noise imagery, and superb detail, even in low-light conditions.

Designed for cinematic productions, it records 4K UHD up to 120fps with 10-bit 4:2:2 internal recording in XAVC S-I, or 16-bit RAW output over HDMI for high-end external workflows. Colour grading professionals will appreciate support for S-Cinetone™, S-Log3, and HLG, offering rich tonality and creative flexibility.

The FX3A's Fast Hybrid AF system includes Real-time Eye AF and tracking, ensuring precise focus on human or animal subjects, ideal for interviews, narratives, or dynamic shoots. In-body 5-axis stabilisation, enhanced by Active Mode, provides smooth footage even when handheld or moving.

Unlike traditional cinema cameras, the FX3A is fan cooled, enabling unlimited 4K recording durations without thermal throttling. Its compact form factor incorporates multiple 1/4”-20 mounting points, removing the need for a cage and allowing direct rigging of accessories.

The included removable XLR top handle unit adds professional audio control via dual XLR/TRS inputs, giving filmmakers flexible recording options without extra gear. With dual CFexpress Type A/SD card slots, fast media transfers and backup recording become seamless.
