Orders

  • Orders paid with a credit card and over a certain value may require an ID check for first-time customers of Diamonds Camera. This is a very simple process and we only require a screenshot of the transaction from your mobile banking app to verify the purchase. This is to cover both yourself and us against potential fraud and this has proved to be the most effective method for both parties.
  • For in-stock items, orders are usually processed and despatched on the day the order is placed. If an order is placed after 2 pm, it will generally be processed on the following day.
  • Large camera orders are packed in boxes with bubble wrap. Smaller orders may arrive secured in satchels or packed in boxes. We take the utmost care to wrap and pack your equipment as if it were our own and how we would expect our own packages to arrive.

Exchange and Returns

According to the Australian Consumer Law, we are not required to provide a refund or replacement if you change your mind or find a cheaper price elsewhere. We generally do not exchange, refund, or return an item once it has been purchased however, in certain cases we will consider it. All items for consideration are subject to inspection by Diamonds Camera and Digital.

If an item qualifies for a return instead of an exchange a copy of the tax invoice is required and the following Re-Stocking Fees apply.

Re-Stocking Fee:
  • $50 for orders under $1000
  • 5% of the return item value for items over $1001
Exchange Requirements
  • Exchanged/returned products must be in brand new, mint condition, and within 14 days of purchase.
  • Items must be in the original, undamaged manufacturer's packaging with all packaging materials, including instruction booklets, packing inserts, plastic bags, and blank warranty cards.
  • Copy of Tax Invoice.
  • The manufacturer's labeled packaging must be enclosed within a new shipping carton – (ONLINE ORDERS ONLY)
  • Please note that the warranty card must not be filled out.
  • Refunds and Exchanges will not be accepted if a promotional claim has been made against the product i.e Cashback or Bonus Redemption. 
  • Shipping and Handling Fees, if applicable are not refundable.
  • Exchange and Refund exclude Drones, GoPro, and Leica that have been used.
  • Specially ordered products can not be returned.
  • Any freight and insurance costs to return the item to us are also at your expense. This includes the liability for any lost freight so we suggest using a courier or registered mail.
  • Online orders must be done within 4 days of delivery and re-stocking fees apply.
  • Diamonds Camera & Digital reserves the right to not return or refund for change of mind.
