The Samyang 100mm T3.1 UMC II Full Frame VDSLR/Cine Lens is a macro telephoto manual focus cine lens designed for full frame sensor sizes. The maximum close-up magnification is 1:1. This macro lens with vivid colour and soft out-focusing is the best lens for close-up images of flower and insects and can also be used for stunning portraits.
The lens allows more delicate video work with distance scale and T numbers are marked on both sides of the lens for convenience. The focus gear ring is installed for follow focus system and you can change the aperture quietly and smoothly with the uncoupled aperture gear rings.
The Samyang 100mm T3.1 has a low T number of T3.1 and features 15 lenses in 12 groups including a high refractive lens (HR) and extra low dispersion lens (ED) to minimise colour aberration and unnecessary light dispersion. The Ultra Multi Coating (UMC) is used to optimise light penetration and minimise flare and ghosting effects. This lens has minimum focusing distance of 0.307m so you can film and photograph subjects up nice and close.
