Ultra Wide Angle Lens
The Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 7-14mm F2.8 PRO Lens is a high performance
ultra-wide angle zoom lens for Micro Four Thirds mirrorless cameras. With excellent
weather sealing and lightweight construction, the 14-28mm (35mm equivalent) lens
is superbly mobile and ready to be brought everywhere.
Constant Bright F2.8 Aperture
Professionals will appreciate the lenses fast fixed aperture of F2.8, which pairs well
with other M.Zuiko Digital Pro Zoom lenses to provide superb light gathering abilities
for shooting in dark and low-light scenarios. Excellent optical performance is achieved
thanks to DSA, Super ED, ED and EDA lenses, which reduce chromatic aberrations,
distortions and vignetting, while ensuring sharp high resolution images from the centre
to the edges of the image frame.
ZERO Coated Lens
Olympus’ Zuiko Extra-low Reflection Optical (ZERO) coating significantly reduces flare and
ghosting so that photographs display exceptional contrast and colour.
20cm Minimum Focusing Distance
The lens offers excellent close up shooting performance and capabilities with a minimum
focusing distance of only 20cm (or 7.5cm from the end of the lens).
Combined with an ultra-wide focal length, users can capture close up details and the
surrounding environment with substantial depth of field.
Whisper Quiet Autofocus
Autofocus is achieved via the high speed linear motor drive system with MSC
(Movie and Still Image Compatible) support, which offers fast and accurate but
whisper quiet AF. Where required, a manual focus clutch mechanism lets users
override the autofocus system.
Customisable Function Button
An integrated L-Fn button can be configured on compatible Olympus M43 Cameras
to provide quick access to custom set functions such as white balance, preview and
other frequently used operations.
Weather Sealed Design
With 11 weather seals providing a dust, splash and freeze proof build, this lens is able
to keep up with the demands of the professional photographer working in harsh weather
conditions and environment.
