The Atomos Shinobi GO delivers the same bright 1500-nit 5.2-inch HDR display and essential monitoring tools found in the Shinobi II, but at a more accessible price. It achieves this by removing advanced features such as camera control, touch-to-focus, and the EL Zone exposure system. For creators who don’t need those pro-level functions, the Shinobi GO offers a slim, lightweight, and highly capable monitor at a significantly lower cost

The Shinobi GO 5.2″ Touchscreen HDR Video/Photo Monitor is a bright, lightweight, and cost-effective addition to your camera setup. Featuring a 5.2″ IPS screen with 1920 x 1080 resolution, 1500 cd/m² brightness, edge-lit backlighting, and support for 3D LUTs, it provides clear monitoring for both stills and video. Its HDMI 1.4 input handles UHD 4K signals and includes a full suite of built-in image tools. It is a budget friendly, low-cost solution for video creators.

AtomOS & Advanced Image Tools

Running the latest AtomOS, the Shinobi GO offers an intuitive layout with a wide selection of monitoring tools. You can fine-tune your exposure using waveforms, false color, zebras, histograms, and more, ensuring professional results while you shoot.

Bright Display

The 5.2″ touchscreen is rated at 1500 cd/m² peak brightness, making it easily viewable outdoors or under direct light. An antireflective layer and anti-fingerprint finish add durability and visibility during use.

Input Signals

An HDMI 1.4 input allows the Shinobi GO to display resolutions up to UHD 4K30 and frame rates up to 1080p60, making it versatile for a range of shooting formats.

HDR & LUT Support

Monitor Log, PQ, or HLG footage with over 10 stops of dynamic range. HDR preview tools make it easier to manage the complexities of shooting in Log or HDR, giving you a closer representation of your final graded image while still in production. You can also load custom LUTs to match your preferred look.

Frame Guides

Framing options include a wide variety of cinematic and social media aspect ratios, from 2.41 and 2.35 to 16:9, 9:16, 4:5, 1:1, and more, helping you compose shots precisely for any platform.

Power Options

Power can be supplied via standard L-series/NP-F batteries or an optional USB-C PD charger. The monitor can also deliver up to 13W of USB-C PD output to power or charge your camera during use.

Remote Calibration

Using the LANC Remote port, the Shinobi GO can be calibrated through Atomos Calibrator software on Windows or macOS. It supports Calibrite ColorChecker Display Pro and Display Plus+ devices to ensure consistent color accuracy.
