The OM SYSTEM OM-3 ASTRO is an astrophotography camera designed for photographers who want to capture the night sky with confidence - especially the rich red glow of nebulae. With enhanced Hα sensitivity enabled by a dedicated IR-cut filter and dedicated color profile control, it reveals more color, contrast, and fine detail in emission nebulae and deep-sky photography, delivering impressive results straight out of the camera.

Purpose-built computational features make night sky photography both intuitive and rewarding. The 50MP High Res Shot enhances image quality by combining multiple exposures in-camera to create a high-resolution composite, improving fine detail and reducing noise - a valuable advantage for astrophotography and night landscapes when used on a tripod or tracking/equatorial mount. Starry Sky AF ensures accurate focus on stars, while Live Composite simplifies long-exposure photography by building images gradually without overexposing bright areas.
