A 4x optical zoom lens covers a versatile 27108mm (35mm equivalent) range, from wide landscapes to closer portraits, with an f/3.06.6 aperture and digital image stabilisation to help steady handheld shots. Onetouch movie recording captures 1080p/30 video, while 720p/60 is on hand for smoother action and 640p 480p/120fps for highspeed clips.

The FZ45 balances simplicity with creative control, offering Program AE and full Manual exposure alongside easy scene modes.
