The RF-S 10-18mm f/4.5-6.3 IS STM is the first RF-S ultra-wide-angle zoom lens that offers a wider field of view than the standard kit zoom lenses, This lens is ideal for shooting landscapes, tight indoor spaces or vlogging. At just 150g, the RF-S 10-18mm f/4.5-6.3 IS STM offers exceptional portability, making it the ideal companion for capturing high-quality photos and videos during your travels or everyday adventures. Equipped with a lead-screw type stepping motor (STM) that offers smooth and quiet autofocus, ideal for video, the ultra-wide angle of view provides a comfortable and natural vlogging experience, allowing you to include more of your surroundings for an immersive experience. With the Built-in Optical Image Stabilization on this lens, it will provide up to 4.0 stops of shake correction and up to 6.0 stops co-ordinated control with an EOS R series camera with IBIS. This helps provide sharp and clear photos and videos when shooting handheld, at long exposure or in low light.
